Engines For Export

Ever since we burst onto TV screens six years ago in BBC1's The Scrappers, we've grown accustomed to the limelight. 🤩

We're constantly filming footage showing folk what we do best because we are busy bees in Britain's best-known breakers yard. 

Our depot is a hive of activity and we get a buzz out of it. 🐝

It's about keeping spirits lifted and getting the job done professionally, safely and making customers happy.

Not so long ago we installed a giant digital outdoor screen to give visitors and passers-by a glimpse of what we do - it's on par to the giant drive-in movie theatres! Who knows, one day it could be Scrappers - the musical 🎬 🍿🎶

We've been having a bit of fun making a few ads and funny mini-movies. Our very own graphic designer and video editor Luis De Almeida has compiled a short clip showing what we do.

As our video points out, The Scrappers are now major players when it comes to car parts for export, engines for export and vehicles for export. 

These days, a lot of that has to do with the power of social media.

The Scrappers bossman Terry Walker explains how it works: "I had a message on my LinkedIn from a guy in Alicante, Spain. 

"I'm familiar with the scrap trade in Alicante as I've dealt with another company over there.

"This guy buys engines and gearboxes. The next time I go to Mercia I will meet him, but meanwhile I'm going to be selling him some engines.

"We are compiling a list now which I'll fire over to him and I'm confident we will be doing further business too."

Our cars for export, engines for export and other car parts for export business already sees us doing trade with established connections in Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria, Lebanon, Poland and Spain.

We are sticking to the government guidelines of two metres apart until instructed otherwise.
